When to Upgrade What

I've always personally wanted to make a chart representing what Titan abilities should be upgraded on each level.  So here we go.  I'm not confident on some of the choices, so feel free to comment and change.

As a basic starter:  Hull is always one of the first 2 upgrades for any titan on any level (as long as it is available).  The next ability should be one that uses antimatter (so that it at least has an ability to use), but that rule is disregarded with the Vorastra and Coronata.  As for level 2, I've always been curious as to whether upgrade weapons & antimatter, or do another ability with one of the latter (again, excluding the Vorastra and Coronata).  Here lately I've been doing weapons & antimatter and have been pleased with the results. 

When level 6 comes around, of course the ultimate ability is the first pick, but after that I've always hesitated on what to do next: primarily whether to upgrade weapons or antimatter.  Usually I just go by feel of the game and by what abilities I have previously upgraded.

Once the titan gets past level 6, it pretty much doesn't matter what you upgrade, because the game is probably over with by that point.

My thoughts....

Ankylon:

I always prioritize furious defenses....this titan is mainly a brick, especially at lower levels, so the key is banking on your fleet to do the killing while this titan simply survives and gets XP...the other things I'd focus on are disruption matrix, hull upgrade, and AM upgrade...this titan uses a lot of AM and doesn't eliminate enemy fleets quickly so it needs a strong hull and good regen from furious defenses...I personally do not find group shield to be all that useful, the cooldown/duration ratio is not good at low levels and it probably isn't going to save cap focused on by SC late game (if you do the math, the actual damage reduced on average is pitiful until lvl 4)...furthermore, if you pick group shield you are now spamming 3 abilities and unless you are high level, you will run out of AM...

Ragnarov:

It really depends on what you are facing...snipe is going to be the best first pick if you need to deal with an SB, titan, or annoying cap (like a lvl 6+ marza) and can handle the fleet....otherwise, scattershot is your best pick...like the Ankylon, this titan is AM hungry so I'd suggest AM upgrades....depending on your skill and what you are facing, you may find all 3 abilities worth having, but if you decide to only go with two of them then I'd suggest picking HP upgrades as your 4th choice....

Coronata:

I usually pick suppression aura and unity mass first...my other two slots are usually hull and weapon upgrades...AM isn't an issue with this titan if you are just using unity mass so the AM upgrade probably isn't worth it...I haven't really decided yet if subjugating assault is good or not -- it can capture corvettes (kind of a unique thing for a titan ability) but the capture rate is low and it reduces the damage of your titan, so I can't recommend picking it....

Eradica:

Obviously chastic burst is your priority...if you are going to level at titan base, I'd go AM upgrade, but otherwise purification so you can quickly eat an Aeria...chastic burst, purification, hull, and AM are probably the 4 things to go for, though you may only want to upgrade AM to lvl 2 as after that you shouldn't have any problems with AM....I'd suggest picking weapon upgrades after that unless you go heavy on the corvettes, in which case strength of the fallen would be better...

Vorastra:

I'd go with desperation and micro jump at first unless you are hitting pirates (then go desperation and hull)...whether you do AM upgrades on this thing or not is up to debate -- personally I would go with 2 AM upgrades so you can micro jump and move around the map easier, but since the main titan ability is passive this could be seen as a waste...you really could go with any 2 of the passive upgrades...I wouldn't get the spawn phase gate ability, it's really rare that a Vasari player is playing a strip game these days...

Kultorask:

Nano leech and Gravity pulse...be sure to micro them so leech fires first, then gravity pulse...I can't comment on which stat boosts to get, though I think nano remit is kind of useless so I can't recommend it....

If you ever get hull upgrades on first ankylon level you are an idiot... TEC armor/HP upgrades are incredibly cheap and you should be researching that when you build a titan.

I'd go with desperation and micro jump at first unless you are hitting pirates (then go desperation and hull)...whether you do AM upgrades on this thing or not is up to debate -- personally I would go with 2 AM upgrades so you can micro jump and move around the map easier, but since the main titan ability is passive this could be seen as a waste...you really could go with any 2 of the passive upgrades...I wouldn't get the spawn phase gate ability, it's really rare that a Vasari player is playing a strip game these days...

Your trolling is really getting desperate these days... having one point into that ability is pretty much required for competitive play.
